Brooke Manning Chooses Harvard
All of us here at Lovell Hockey are proud to announce that Brooke Manning (2004) has committed to Harvard University. Brooke has spent the past 2 years playing for Jimmy Russo’s 2004 Boston Advantage team. Coach Russo explains: “Brooke came over to us last year when she decided she wanted to put herself in the best situation to achieve her dream of playing Division 1 college hockey. Playing against boys every day in practice and during games certainly placed a target on her back, however, she continued to develop in the environment. She was consistently one of the hardest workers and most coachable players I had. Brooke developed into a 200 foot player - she came in with great offensive ability that she continued to develop further, but she really improved on the defensive side of the puck. She put in a lot of work to become a complete player. I know Brooke is ecstatic to be joining the Harvard family, not only the Girls Hockey program, but also the second to none academics and experience of Harvard University. Harvard University is getting a great young woman and future hockey star in Brooke. I can’t wait to see her in Crimson and White.”
Lovell Hockey would like to congratulate Brooke and her family on her commitment to be a Student -Athlete at Harvard University. Go Crimson!!
