Why Full Season Midget?
Midget full season hockey is now in full swing in New England with most teams now fielding U16 and U18 teams. Players are seeking different avenues than the traditional prep/private school route. New England has established itself as the hub of prep/private hockey but midget full season teams have emerged onto the scene. Many of the high end full season programs in the New England area, like the Boston Advantage (Tier 1 Elite Hockey League), New Jersey Hitmen (USPHL), Boston Jr. Bruins (USPHL) and the Manchester Monarchs (Tier 1 Elite Hockey League), to name a few, now boast as many or more Division 1 and Division 3 hockey commitments each season than the top prep and private schools.
