Katie Pyne to Become and Eagle

Lovell Hockey/Boston Advantage would like to congratulate Katie Pyne on her commitment to  Boston College.  Katie spent her youth hockey years with Boston Advantage, playing for Matt Glennon.  The 2002 team, led by Matt, was very successful.  Katie’s contribution to the 2002 team helped with their overall success.  She moved through the development process at BA, playing with boys up through the U14 age bracket.  There were many discussions around her play at the checking level.  Matt, however, said “I want her to remain with the group, because she is still one of our top performers, even with hitting.”  Matt was extremely instrumental in Katie’s development.  Katie has spent numerous hours at Lovell Hockey, especially during the summer, refining her skill set in the Elite Camps.  She has worked extremely hard to become one of the best women prospects in the nation.  We at Lovell Hockey are extremely proud of her accomplishments!  We want to thank the Pyne family for trusting us and giving Lovell Hockey the opportunity to coach such a talented athlete.

We wish Katie the very best as she looks forward to joining the college ranks!
