About Us

The Boston Advantage Hockey Club has 35 teams from the Mite to Midget Major level. Our mission is to develop complete players. Our younger teams are members of the NEHL. Our Midget teams compete in the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League.

The Boston Advantage Hockey Club is an extension of Lovell Hockey School. As such, we can provide players with skill and skating clinics and off-ice training in state of the art facilities. See below for Our Staff.

Our Staff

Tim Lovell,  President & Owner, General Manager and Coach

Tim Lovell's career includes 8 years of professional hockey as well as two Division 1 colleges: University of Maine and U Mass Amherst.

Joe Lovell,  General Manager and Head Coach - Midget Majors

Joe is a graduate of Bentley College where he was a standout player. From there he went to play professionally in the UHL, CHL and SPHL.

Joe Bracken, Director of Hockey Operations, Assistant Coach Midget Majors & Minors

Joe played college hockey at St. Anselm's.In addition to his Boston Advantageduties, he is currently the Northeast Director of USHL Central Scouting.

Jeff Connolly, Head Instructor, Coach Midget Minors

After being drafted by the Vancouver Canuxks in the 1992 NHL draft, Jeff enjoyed his college career at Boston College. After BC he played professionally for 3 years.
